How long will my hunting or fishing trip last?
All waterfowl (duck & goose) hunts are full-day hunts, which means the hunt will last all day, or until you get your limit; whichever comes first. Dove hunts are half-day hunts, with the option of paying an additional $35 per-gun for the remainder of the day. For fishing trips you are required to pay for 2 hours minimum of fishing time regardless of whether you stay 2 hours or not. Your guide will be happy to keep you fishing for as long as you want at the rates stated in the fishing section.

Do you offer "multiple-day" discounts to hunters & anglers?
We most certainly do offer discounts to hunters & anglers that wish to hunt or fish for more than one day during a particular season. How much of a discount you receive depends on how many times per year you reserve a hunting or fishing adventure, whether you can come during off-peak days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday), & which adventure you have chosen. Often we can also offer "last-minute" or "cancellation" discounts to sportsmen that can be available with less than 48 hours notice. Please contact us, we'll be happy to put you on the "cancellation waiting list," or discuss a custom priced package for your get away.

Do you need a deposit to hold my hunting / fishing reservation & how much do you need?
YES... reservations are held for a requested date with a deposit.
DOVE HUNT RESERVATION $75 deposit per-person
WATERFOWL HUNT RESERVATION $125 deposit per-person
FISHING ADVENTURE RESERVATION $30 deposit per-person
Upon receiving your deposit, Good Times will send you a formal contract that describes the deposit refund policies in depth. Good Times will hold your reservation for 7 days without a deposit as a courtesy; if the deposit is not received by the 7th day, we offer your reservation to the next available party.

Do you offer accommodations for handicapped & physically challenged hunters & anglers?
Yes, we offer several different comfortable options for physically challenged sportspeople. We'll do our best to come up with a solution for your needs no matter how large or small.

What does fully-guided mean?
Fully guided means that we provide:
the private hunting or fishing location, professional guide, decoys, decoy setup, decoy pick-up, blind or pit, bird calling, & retrieving.
You are responsible for:
your own meals, lodging, equipment, licenses, & supplies.

How far in advance should I book my adventure?
You should book your hunting or fishing trip as far in advance as you can. If you are looking at a specific date, you should book months in advance if possible. The OPENING days of any season (dove, duck, goose) are typically booked up to 3 years in advance.
Dove hunts will start booking the first of July, but dates may be booked a year in advance.
The main interest in waterfowl hunting is for later week / weekend hunts (Thursday-Sunday); these hunts typically book one month or more in advance. We have many repeat clients that book the same date or weekend a year in advance every year. Due to our deposit policy, we rarely have a last-minute cancellation for dove or waterfowl hunts however it never hurts to check with us for last minute availability.

Where is Good Times Guide Service located, & how do I get there?
The Windsor / Severance area is where we call home. We're 1 hour north of Denver, 45 minutes south of Cheyenne, & 20 minutes from Fort Collins & Loveland. Most of our hunting locations will be within 30 minutes drive from the Windsor / Severance area. From I-25 take Exit #262 (Windsor Exit turns into Colorado Hwy 392) east 3 miles into the town of Windsor. Use Mapquest® for detailed driving directions.

YES! Good Times Guide Service offers gift certificates in any amount for duck & goose hunting trips as well as fully-guided fishing trips.
